Zeekit and Triona to develop a complete digital solution for road operations and maintenance.

After a successful project within asphalt logistics Zeekit and Triona are now starting a closer collaboration to develop a comprehensive digital solution for road operations and maintenance.

The system will give contractors and builders a better basis for decision making and the possibility for proactive maintenance. The new solution will cover the whole value chain – from estimation and planning through operative management, to collection and follow-up. The system is modular and can be scaled up from small to large actors in the industry. The need for data-driven maintenance has increased, both for contractors and road operators.

Cooperation focusing on important features

The new platform will offer:

• Strategic and operative planning based on updated core data
• Automated control with the help of artificial intelligence (AI)
• Monitoring and tracking of assets in the assets register
• Continuous progression control
• Preventive and risk-based maintenance

Triona contributes with advanced solutions for AI, NVDB integration, and planning tools while Zeekit provides technology for real-time data from vehicles and field tools. This gives a flexible platform which also supports subcontractors’ needs.

“Together with Zeekit we will offer a solution which links asset data and planning tools in a new way. This makes it easier to meet the needs in future road maintenance contracts. – and at the same time create value in long-term planning”, said Rune Dragsnes, CEO Triona Norway.

The first delivery of the solution is planned for autumn 2025, with integration for planning and AI-inspection. Further development will take place in close dialogue with the industry and will be prioritized based on feedback from customers and partners.
