Triona sets up Operations in Finland

Triona will open an office in Finland, located in Espoo just outside of Helsinki.
Coinciding with the setup Mika Karjalainen joins Triona as its first employee in Finland, starting in May.
Triona has long had a customer relationship with the Finnish Transport Agency (Liikennevirasto) and in recent years has developed relationships with Finnish companies that complement Triona's offerings.
Triona currently sees several interesting business opportunities in Finland, where their products and specialist competence could be delivered. Hence, the timing is right for entering the Finnish market.
To simplify initial work, CivilPoint OY (formerly Vianova Systems Finland Oy) will be a minority shareholder. CivilPoint is Trimble’s authorized reseller in Finland for the Novapoint software and even offers operationally focused competence within the infrastructure field. Initially, Niko Rosenquist, based at Triona's office in Stockholm, will take on the role of managing director of Triona OY. Niko has Finnish roots and has good knowledge of Finnish language and culture.
