Triona AS awarded contract by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration for new NVDB registration client
Triona AS has been awarded a contract by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration to deliver a new registration client for the National Road Database (NVDB). The contract covers software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery, including implementation, training, operations, user support and access to consulting services throughout the contract period. The agreement has an initial term of one year, with options to extend for up to three years in total, and an estimated value of NOK 6–8 million.
The procurement is intended to meet the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s need for a modern, user-friendly solution for efficient registration and updating of road data, both in the field and in the office. Triona will deliver the solution based on the SINUS platform, supporting improved data quality, more efficient work processes, and greater access to critical road information.
The contract represents an important step to confirm Triona’s leading position in the Norwegian market. It also marks the introduction of the next generation of SINUS and further strengthens the company’s position in the development of proprietary software products and industry-specific solutions.
Among other features, the solution will support map and table-based visualization, search and filtering of road objects, direct integration with NVDB, office- and field-based work, and offline functionality.
— This contract is an important recognition of Triona’s expertise and experience in digital solutions for the transport sector. We look forward to contributing to the continued digitalization of Norway’s transport sector, says Rune Wilhelm Dragsnes, Managing Director, Triona Norway.
