Triona implements IFC 4.3 import in TNE
Triona has been involved in developing the Industry Foundation Classes format (IFC 4.3) standard for infrastructure. This is an important step towards open and interoperable information flows in the Construction and Civil Engineering Sector.
We have now taken the next step and implemented the initial support for IFC 4.3 import in TNE.
This means we can convert BIM models (IFC) into structured, usable data. Thus, we can link design, construction. and management.
As a result, the following benefits can be achieved:
- Automated IFC import which reduces manual work and lead times
- Preserved geometry and metadata throughout the data chain
- Transformation from complex 3D models to structured GIS data
- The ability to validate and trace data from model to assets
For our customers, this means improved data quality, lower risk and new opportunities for a data-driven way of working in asset management, including the creation of digital twins.
We look forward to continuing to drive development together with the industry
